Dance of India
- Classical &
Traditional Folk (GDT)
Emphasis on Bharatanatyam classical dance and traditional folk dances
from North and South India. Basic dance techniques from both styles
will be incorporated in the class. GDT encourages students
serious about learning Bharatanatyam to also attend Special
Bharatanatyam classes on Sunday.
Jazz & World Rhythms Dance
(GDT) World music and dance
styles – emphasis on Jazz, Modern, Dunham, African, Asian
Indian movements & routines.
Preschool Class (GDT)
Drums & Percussion - African & Caribbean (GDT)
Tiako Japanese Drumming
HAPA Filipino Folk Dance Classes -
Learn a variety of folk
dances from the Philippines. Classes on the 2nd and 4th Sundays during
the academic year.
Tuition
Prepaid GDT members $30 for 6 classes (GDT membership: Individual $35,
Family: $50)
Prepaid non-members $42 for 6 classes
Additional
charge for Special Classes.
Classes other than GDT designated are paid directly to the instructor
at their tuition rate.
