Students are invited to join us for a one-week day camp designed to empower, educate, and encourage young minds to explore STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) especially as it relates to the environment.
The week will conclude with a performance piece by participants that demonstrate WATER through dance, music, and visual arts, and this year we introduce creative writing and theatre - where the participants devise monologues or scenes keeping with the theme!
Masks are required.

Meet our Guest Artist
Sarmishtha Sarkar

Sarmishtha is an international choreographer/dancer and the Artistic Director of Aavirbhav Arts, Ahmedabad, India. She is also the visiting faculty of the Department of Arts, Gujarat University, India.
Our Instructors

Lo Stone: Creative Writing and Theatre
Lo Stone is an actor, director, and writer, and she is currently studying Theatre Arts and Creative Writing at Grand View University. Lo is a graduate of Des Moines Area Community College and received a Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival Certificate of Merit for her Direction of The Creative Age in 2021 and she was a 2021 Irene Ryan nominee for her performance in Romeo & Juliet. She has been a member of the acting troupes, Yours, Mime & Ours, The Buskers of Suburbia, and The Rounding Shakespeare Company. Lo resides in Des Moines with her incredible husband and is proud to call herself a mother of seven and grandmother of one.
